Beauty City Paris Style in Tel Aviv! 


This week I attended an amazing yearly event in Tel Aviv known as “Beauty City.”  This is a fashion, beauty, and lifestyle show.  The exhibition halls were designed beautifully and there were experts in the areas of beauty, design, and fitness giving advice individually to participants.  There also was a great lecture on house decor ideas given by the designer Daniel Hasson.  Some of the advice he gave was about redesigning your house cheaply.  He said for example, you can color one wall in your living room differently in order to create interest.  Another lecture focused on makeup advice given by a makeup artist, Omer Assaf which focused on the importance of a good makeup brush.

The only drawback about the “Beauty City” Exhibition concerned the freebees and contests at the event.  Even though participants paid an entrance fee to go to the show, in order to receive “freebees” and/or enter contests, participants had to make a purchase.  This made the show more commercial and that was too bad.  All in all however, the show was enjoyable and informative.
